Returns Policy

At Principal The Label, we want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, we offer returns for store credit only. Please review our policy below before initiating a return.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition, including all packaging and tags attached.
  • Returns must be accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt).
  • We do not accept returns on sale items, gift cards, or final sale products.

How to Return an Item

  1. Email us at lightsout@principalthelabel.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with the return address.
  3. Send your item back to us using a tracked shipping method at your own expense. We do not provide return labels.
  4. Once received and inspected, we will issue your store credit via email.

Important Notes

  • Store credit is issued as a digital gift card and does not expire.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If your item does not meet the return criteria, we reserve the right to refuse the return.

Shipping Policy

At Principal The Label, we’re all about getting your order to you as quickly and smoothly as possible. 

Online orders are processed within 48hrs of placement Monday through Friday AEST, excluding weekends and public holidays.

You will be notified by email once your order has been dispatched and a tracking number will be emailed so you can monitor your consignment's journey. 

Shipping Within Australia

  • Standard Shipping: 2-10 days
  • Express Shipping: 2-3

International Shipping

  • We ship worldwide - International shipping rates are calculated at checkout
  • Estimated delivery times vary depending on your location

Order Processing

  • All orders are processed and shipped Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays
  • Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email

Customs & Duties

  • International customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes that may apply.

Address Issues

  • Please ensure the details provided at checkout are accurate, as we cannot be held liable for incorrect deliveries due to input errors. Our shipping providers are trusted services, and as such Principal The Label will not refund or replace orders that have been scanned as delivered.

Lost or Delayed Orders

  • Once your order is with the courier, delivery times are out of our control.
  • If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe, please check your tracking or contact us at lightsout@principalthelabel.com.
